I have listed the websites that I value and refer to on a regular basis – to refresh my knowledge, gain awareness of advances in treatment and read about developments in research

    JDRF funds type 1 diabetes research to improve the lives of those living with type 1 and to one day, eradicate the condition for good.

  • Diabetes UK

    Diabetes UK campaigns for improvements in the care and treatment of people with diabetes. Their vision is a world where diabetes can do no harm.

  • Sugar Surfing

    Information about the Sugar Surfing method of managing type 1 diabetes created by Dr Stephen Ponder, a certified diabetes educator based in Texas, USA.

  • T1 Resources

    T1 Resources is a collection of online, peer-support and social media resources designed to make type 1 diabetes a little bit easier to live with. All resources are reviewed by healthcare professionals and people with diabetes.

  • Trialnet

    TrialNet is an international network of leading academic institutions, endocrinologists, physicians, scientists and healthcare teams involved with T1D research, offering risk screening and clinical studies.

  • Digibete

    A video platform and app specifically designed to help young people and families manage type 1 diabetes. All content is clinically approved by the Diabetes team at Leeds Children’s Hospital.
